After Realme Buds Air, company has introduced the Realme Buds Air Neo true wireless earphones, priced at Rs. 2,999. The Realme Buds Air Neo is more affordable than the Realme Buds Air and has the same design, but there are some differences in terms of features and performance.
Although Realme Buds Air’s sound quality is not as good as Buds Neo,it definitely pushed boundaries of low-cost true wireless earphones in terms of features. There’s no wireless charging, and charging is through a Micro-USB port, there’s no Type-C port, which you get on the higher-priced Buds Air.
Not Much things are changed when we talk about Design. Buds Air Neo has almost same design as Apple Airpods. The outer-ear fit is comfortable and stayed in place for most normal activities.
The colour options have changed; you can get the Realme Buds Air Neo in white, green, or red. The charging case is the same colour as the earphones, and has the Micro-USB charging port at the bottom, plus a pairing button and indicator light at the front.
There are touch-sensitive zones on the earphones for the controls, which worked well for us.It has a smart touch operation like, if you tap twice on the buds, it will play/pause the song, if you tap thrice on buds, it will change the song to next. It has 3 other touch operations.
The pairing process is smooth and quick. You can connect Buds Air Neo with multiple Android Phones and Windows PC. Buds Air Neo maintains a stable connection with any paired device because of Google Fast pair and R1 true wireless chip.
The sound delivery remains unaffected. In fact, the Buds Air Neo generates slightly louder audio output as compared to the Buds Air.Like the Buds Air, the Buds Air Neo also does not emphasize much on bass and focuses more on the mids and high frequencies.
The sound presentation is engaging as the vocals sound clear and the treble response is also good. But some tracks had too much apparent treble creating a very bright sound output.
Overall, the Buds Air Neo produces very entry-level sound and is not meant for serious audiophiles. Phone call mode also does not have any issues.
Buds Air Neo runs around 3 hours once you fully charge it with volume level flucturing between 80% to 100%.They are priced lower, offer secure and comfortable fit and produce good audio on a budget price.
